About the studio

We are a very small studio, and we like it that way.

Quiet Notes started as a shared notebook of ideas for pictures we wanted to make. It slowly turned into a studio: one of us mostly shoots and edits film, the other mostly makes photographs and prints.

We prefer natural light, real places and unhurried schedules. We work with individuals, families and small independent businesses, usually on projects that last a few weeks rather than a few hours.

What we don’t do

We don’t do large events, stock photography or anything that needs to be finished by tomorrow. We would rather do fewer things well.

New projects

We are currently not taking new commissions. Existing clients can reach us the usual way.
